Their creative talents on the art team and their shared sassy energy have only strengthened their bond. Ruth Annie-Grace Koshy, Gracie’s second favorite member of the Mathews-Koshy family. Ruth may be Jude’s first cousin, but she’s better known as Gracie’s best friend. From their first FaceTime to bonding at a family wedding, their connection was instant. Even with Ruth in Virginia and Gracie in North Carolina, distance has never gotten in the way—they FaceTime almost daily, laughing until their cheeks hurt. When they’re together, it feels like an early 2000s summer best-friend movie. Gracie loves to joke that she’s marrying Jude just so she and Ruth can officially be family. Having Ruth’s laughter and love beside her makes this day unforgettable.

Jonah Daniel Mathews, the second greatest prayer ever answered for Jude. As the eldest brother to two sisters, Jude longed for a little brother to grow close to and prayed every night during family prayers for Jonah to come along. In 2004, that prayer was answered. With nearly seven years between them, there was just enough age gap to avoid fights but never enough to weaken their bond. Jonah has been a constant source of love and support for Jude, offering companionship during times when close friends were few. When Jude and Jonathan lived in New York, their bond truly formed and stayed strong even after the Koshys moved to Virginia. For over two decades, Jonathan has been a constant source of fun, love, and friendship in Jude’s life. As fellow Knicks supporters and lifelong best friends, Jude couldn’t be happier to have Jonathan standing by his side on the wedding day.

David Shalom Koshy – Lovely Aunty’s second child and one of Jude’s closest cousins. Wherever Jonathan and Jude were, David and Jonah were never far behind. Evan Alexander Oltra Hindin, Gracie’s first nephew! Over the years, Evan and Gracie have grown closer, sharing a special bond. Known for his caring and gentle nature, Evan is the perfect ring bearer. Gracie and Jude have loved spending time with him, making memories they’ll cherish forever.
